• Location Data: SwapX relies on precise and approximate location data to show you items available for trade nearby.
• User Content: We store the images, titles, descriptions, and categories of the items you upload to the platform.
• Communications: We securely store chat messages exchanged between users to facilitate trades and enforce community guidelines.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the SwapX platform.
• To verify your identity using SMS OTP authentication.
• To automatically analyze item uploads using AI (Google Gemini) for categorization and safety moderation.
• To process your premium subscription requests.

3. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share necessary data with trusted service providers (such as Google Cloud and Firebase) strictly for the purpose of operating the application. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

4. Account and Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can request complete account deletion directly within the SwapX app by navigating to Profile Settings -> Delete Account Permanently. Once initiated, all your personal data, items, and chats will be permanently removed from our servers.
